Thermal treatments
A pioneer in this field, FEMIA designs and manufactures a wide range of continuous thermal treatment machines applied to fruits, vegetables, and sweet corn as well as various products. The blanchers and coolers each have from 1 to 3 treatment modes according to the model and are sized for the required capacity. The combination of the blanching and cooling mode or modes in the same piece of equipment makes it possible to apply thethermal treatment that is best suited for each product: rapidity and homogeneity of the thermal treatment, yield and product integrity, preservation of the organoleptic qualities. The cleanability and the optimisation of energy and water consumption is a constant in the development of the FEMIA offering.
